Located across the New Museum by SANAA on the Bowery in Soho,NYC, the new facility for the International Center for Photography relocates their current museum location down the block and consolidates the many functions of the organizations’ various locations. The new headquarters houses museum exhibition, academy, and administrative spaces into one building. While the museum remains the main public “core” of the building, a series of tectonic reveals of the private spaces insinuate a flirtation with the public.
